家族や知り合いから、「全然更新してないじゃーん。」と＾＾；

理由は、「英語を書くのが面倒になったから！」です。

そこで、先月から日本語だけのブログを始めました。

Jordan:Foods in Aqaba /料理 in アカバ編

Today I will talk about foods in Aqaba. Aqaba is a nice place, people are kind, Red sea is beautiful, food is good and weather is nice.
今日はアカバでの食事について書きます。アカバは人も優しいし、紅海に面していてとてもキレイだし、ご飯はおいしいし、天気も良くて、ナイスです。

Petra


Outside the hotel we met a man called Ahmed. He showed us a restaurant where we had our first dish, Kebab. It was very tasty and they also gave us free tea. Ahmed actually is a private guide, so he tried to find someone that wanted to go to Petra, Wadi-rum or Dead sea with him. But we had already booked the car.
私達の最初のご飯は、ケバブでした。とてもおいしかったですよ^^ それに、お茶も無料で出してもらいました。ラッキーです。実は、ホテルについて荷物を置いてからお店を探しに行っている時、アハメドという男性が声を掛けてきました。彼は、ガイド謙運転で、彼の主催するツアーに行く人を探していました。私たちは、レンタカーを予約していたので、行きませんでしたが^^;

Everywhere in Jordan you can eat Pita bread in the restaurant for free.
ちなみに、ヨルダンのレストランでは無料でピタパンが必ず出てきます。

Jordanian nuts is very famous, there was the nut shops everywhere. One time we tried to buy chili nuts. I like them very much. 1.5JD for 100g.
ヨルダンのナッツはとても有名で、いたるところにナッツ屋さんがあります。私たちも、チリ味のナッツを買いました。美味しかったですよ~! 100gで1.5JD

7JD per two people. So this plate's price in this picture is 3.5JD
二人で7JDでした。なので、この写真のものだけで、3.5JD

Second day's Lunch: This is a plate for two. Price is 5JD. Tea is 0.5JD per person.
二日目のランチ。このプレートは二人前です。値段は二人で5JD。お茶は一杯0.5JD

We also had seafood at Captains restaurant, which was recommended by Apollo. at captains we had pot of seafood with shrimps, fish and squid. Captains restaurant is not cheap, but the food good.
キャプテンレストランというお店で、海鮮料理を食べました!! このお店は、スウェーデンの旅行会社アポロがオススメしていたところです。
中身は、エビ、魚、そして、イカ(その他野菜)でした。値段は高いけど、美味しかったです!!

13JD per person for this picture's dish a lot of rice and of course including pita breads.
写真の鍋は一人前で、13JD。これにご飯山盛りと、ピタパンがついてきます。

My boyfriend ate Kebab again. so nice! But this is not same place as first one. I ate beef hamburger, this one also good. 11JD for Kebab, hamburger, two fresh juices and one glass icecream.
他の日に、彼がもう一度ケバブを食べました。最初のお店とは違うところですが、おいしかったですよ^^私はハンバーガーを食べました。ケバブとハンバーガー、フレッシュジュース2杯、アイスクリーム1つで11JD。

Grilled chicken half size. It was too much grilled, but taste is ok. I like this.

I went to Mazza snack 3 times. Their food isn't expensive and also taste ok. I really love to drink fresh juices, There are many kind of fresh juices in Jordan, and I was able to drink it at many places. Price is 1.3JD till 2JD.
私はMazza snackというお店に3回行きました。値段も安いし、味も結構美味しいですよ。それに、フレッシュジュースを飲むのが大好きで、いろいろなところで飲みました。でも、Mazza snackが一番安かったと思います。だいたい、1.3JD~2JDくらいです。

There is a McDonald's in Aqaba. I bought McNuggets, of cause the taste was the same as in other country. We ate to much pita bread, grilled meat, kebab... I love their food but I don't want to eat it everyday.

アカバにはマクドナルドもあります。私はマックナゲッツを買いました。もちろん味は万国共通。ピタパン、ケバブなどに飽きた時には助かります。 さすがに、毎日ヨルダン料理はきついです。

Our last dinner was grilled shrimps with fried rice and salad: total 12.5JD. The shrimps were also good.
There are many fresh fish and seafood, so I think you should try if you like.
旅行の最後の晩御飯はエビのグリルとフライドライス、サラダでした。値段は12.5JD。
アカバには新鮮な海の幸がいっぱい。行った時には是非~!

Jordan: Petra / ペトラ編

前のブログに続き、ヨルダン旅行。ぺトラ編です。スケジュールと死海については書いたので、興味がある方は、そっちもどうぞ～。

I went to Petra in the morning of the third day with my boyfriend. The day before we stayed in wadi-musa, it is kind of Petra's entrance. There were many people on the road celebrating or having an election party or something when we arrived in wadi-musa. It was chaotic! But they seemed happy.
私たちは、旅行３日目の朝にぺトラに行きました。前日は、ぺトラの門でもあるワディ・ムーサという街に泊まってりました。夜、ワディ・ムーサに到着したとき、選挙のお祝いだかなんだかで、街は大騒ぎ状態（投票日はまだなのに）。でも、みんなすごく楽しそうでした。

The second day in wadi-musa, we check out from the hotel early in the morning. The way from the hotel to Petra's ticket office was only 5min by car. Really near! So you don't need to worry get up late.
泊まったつ次の日の朝、ホテルを早朝チェックアウトして、ぺトラのチケットオフィスへ。そこまで車でたったの５分！しかも、のろのろ運転、本当に近いです。なので、ワディ・ムーサに泊まった場合は、ちょっと寝坊しても問題ありません。

The ticket to Petra is 50JD for one day. (if you are Jordanian it costs only 1 JD!)
In Petra you can see many historical relics, it's so beautiful. I think it is better if you can go in the early morning. Because you need a long time to see everything, Petra is a huge area! I didn't finish seeing everything there, even though I went there in the morning and stayed until 5pm.
ぺトラの１日券は５０ＪＤです。（ヨルダン人は１ＪＤ、差がすごい）
ぺトラでは、本当にたくさんの歴史的建造物が見られます。本当にキレイです。しかも、とても広いので、出来れば朝早くからぺトラに入って、１日たっぷり楽しんだほうが良いと思います。朝から夕方５時までいたのに、見終わりませんでした。

When you pass the gate, a lot of people ask you "do you want to ride a camel or horse? It's free!!!". But if you ride you have to pay tip, so please be careful. We didn't ride, I think it is not too far to walk.
中に入るといたるところで「ラクダか馬に乗っていかない？無料だよ！」って言われますが、後でチップを取られます。なので、気をつけてください。私たちは乗らないで最後まで歩きとおしました。

If you walk 5 min from the gate, you can see the "As-siq",which is a narrow mountain passage. 15min from the entrance of the As-siq, suddenly you can see the Al-khazneh, also known as the treasury. It is 30m wide and 43m high. I felt that I really came to a new world when I saw Al-khazneh. This building was in the movie of "Indiana jones and last crusade".
ゲートから５分ほど歩くと、シークと呼ばれる、巨大な岩の間にできた道が見えてきます。その中を１５分ほどあるくと、突然インディー・ジョーンズ（最後の聖戦）にも出てきたあの、建造物が見えます。本当に突然で、ハッとしました。しかも、高さは４３ｍ、思っていたよりも大きくて素晴らしいです。新しい世界に来たような気がしました。

But Petra has many more buildings than the treasury. There are a lot of tombs , a theatre and a monastery....
でも、ぺトラはこれだけじゃありません。他にもたくさんの遺跡、お墓、修道院・・・

A Bedouin guy said " actually 75% of Petra is still under ground, so you can't see it yet.You can come back later".
あるベドウィンと話をしたとき、「まだ７５％は見てないよ、土に埋まっているから。」といわれました。

I really want to go to Petra several years later.

数年後、できればまた行きたいです。

1 week in Jordan. ヨルダン旅行記

Hej! こんにちは！

I went to Jordan for 8 days with my boyfriend. I think a lot of Japanese people don't know where Jordan is and what kind of things there are over there. Actually I didn't know about Jordan  before I went either.
彼と１週間ヨルダンに行ってきました。結構多くの方は、ヨルダンってドコ！？何があるの！？と思うと思います。私も旅行に行くって決めるまではそうでした。

Foods in Aqaba

I feel this travel was very special for me and gave me good impression.
今回の旅行は、本当に特別でした。

Today I will briefly talk about what i did on the trip. I will write more details in others posts.
今日は、旅行の大まかなスケジュールを書きます。詳しい内容は他のページで書く予定です。

We went to Aqaba in Jordan with Apollo (a Swedish travel agency) 19th January, they prepared our airplane and hotel.
私たちは、ヨルダンのアカバという街に行きました。スウェーデンの旅行会社、アポロで航空券とホテルだけのフリーツアーを予約。

Aqaba is not a big city, you don't need to stay there for a long time unless you will go diving in Red Sea. you can see Israel from beach.
アカバは小さい町です。なので、紅海ダイビングをしない場合は、そんなに長い時間滞在しなくてもいいと思います。そうそう、アカバのビーチからはイスラエルのエイラットが見えますよ。

One day we went to the Dead Sea, Petra and Wadi-rum. Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth. You can experience to float in the sea and mud packing. The mud is very good for your skin.
アカバ以外の日は、死海、ぺトラ、ワディ・ラムに行きました。死海は地球上で一番低いところにあります。死海では何もしなくても体が浮く体験もできるし、泥パックでお肌もスベスベになります。

Petra is one of the 7 wonders in the world and also registered on UNESCO in 1985. You can see many tombs and follow the tracks. Maybe you have seen one building (al-kahzne) in Petra if you watched "Indiana jones and the last crusade".
ぺトラはとても大きな遺跡群、ユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されています。古代の軌跡をたどることができます。映画「インディ・ジョーンズ/最後の聖戦」を見た方は、ぺトラの古代建造物の一つ、エル・カズネを知っているかもしれませんね！


Wadi-rum is a beautiful place in the desert. You can see beautiful views over there. Bedouins are living in wadi-rum village, many of them are working with tourism. You can have a special experience with them: a jeep tour and living in a Bedouin camp in the middle of the desert, watch the sunset and the stars.
ワディ・ラムは砂漠です。っていうか、砂漠とグランドキャニオンをセットにしたような感じ。めちゃくちゃキレイな景色を見ることができます！そこに住むベドウィンの方々は旅行客に楽しい経験を提供してくれます。ジープツアー、ベドウィンキャンプで一泊、そこで見る夕日や日の出。最高！

スケジュールまとめ：
19th January: Stockholm to Aqaba. Fright time is about 5h30
１月19日：ストックホルムから飛行機で約５時間半、アカバへ。

20th: walk around in Aqaba. We checked the price of souvenirs and spices on the street. Go to the beach. But it isn't good to wear bikini if you go to the public beach, because Jordan is a Muslim country.
２０日：アカバ市内観光。このときにお土産の値段をいろんなお店でチェック。そして、アカバビーチへ。イスラム国家なので、公共ビーチに行く場合は、ビキニはやめた方がいいですよ。

21th: We rented a car to go to the Dead Sea. Aqaba to Dead Sea is almost 4h by car. After float in the sea we went to see Al-karak castle. The castle is situated on a mountain, so you can see a nice view. After the castke we stayed in Wadi-musa one night for going to Petra the next day.
２２日：車をレンタルして、死海へ。アカバから死海まで、休憩挟んでだいたい４時間くらい。そのあとは、死海で浮く体験。それが終わってからは、エル・カラク城へ。城は山の上にあるので、そこからキレイな景色が見えます！見学が終わってから、ワディ・ムーサという街へ。ここは次の日にぺトラに行くために一泊しました。

22th: Petra whole day and went back to Aqaba at night.
２２日：朝から夕方までぺトラ観光。その夜、アカバへもどりました。

23th: We went to Wadi-rum. We experienced staying in a Bedouin camp and jeep tour. We rode camel as well.
２３日：ワディ・ラムへ。ジープツアー５時間、らくだにも乗りました。そして、ベドウィンキャンプで一泊。

24th: Back to Aqaba in the morning. We were very tired, so we rested the whole day.
２４日：朝、アカバへ戻りました。とても疲れていたので、一日中まったり過ごしました。

25th: We went shopping. bought some spices and souvenirs.
２５日：買い物へ。お土産購入！

26th: We went to a Mosque. and looked around. In the afternoon we went back to Stockholm.
２６日：アカバの一番大きなモスクへ。そして、ついでに市内観光を少し。夕方ストックホルムへ。

Making Japanese food in Sweden.

Japanese food is very famous in the world, especially Sushi, Tempura and Miso soup. But this is only a few examples of Japanese food. Also, I think it is not easy to make tempura for Swedish people, this is because they usually don't deep-fry at home. 

日本食は世界中で有名ですよね。特にお寿司！てんぷら、それに味噌汁。
でも、日本人は寿司・てんぷらばっかり食べているわけじゃないですよね～。お味噌汁はたくさん飲むけど。それに、スウェーデン人は揚げ物を作るのに慣れていないので、作るのは少し面倒かも。


I'm Japanese, of cause I like Japanese food! I have made several kinds of japanese food since I came to Sweden. For example Teriyaki, Yakiniku(Japanese BBQ), Gyoza(Japanese dumpling), Udon(Noodle), Miso ramen(Noodle)...etc
私は日本人だから、もちろん日本食が大好きです！スウェーデンに来てからも、いろいろな日本食料理を作っています。てりやき、焼肉、餃子、うどん、味噌ラーメン。

（焼肉のたれも自分で作ります。味噌ラーメンの味噌スープも自分で）


Teriyaki is also famous. You can make teriyaki from both salmon and chicken. There are teriyaki sauce in the Super market, but you don't need to buy it. You can easily make teriyaki sauce from soy-sauce and honey.
照り焼きも有名な食べ物ですね。「テリヤキ」というと、鶏肉をイメージする人が多いですが、実はサーモンでもおいしいですよね。
スウェーデンのスーパーでは、テリヤキソースが売られていますが、買う必要はまったくありません！醤油とハチミツで似たものが作れます。
もちろん、醤油・酒・みりんでもいいけど、スウェーデンでは日本酒は高いので。


Gyoza: You can buy the Gyoza-wrapping in the Asian store or you also can make it yourself. You need only flour and warm water (add a little bit of salt if you want). Then you fill them with ground pork, cabbage(or Chinese cabbage), ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and salt. You can add Shiitake mushrooms If you like.
Chinese dumplings are usually boiled or steamed, but Japanese dumplings are fried, so you don't need special skills. (But actually I like steamed ones better)

餃子：餃子の皮はアジア食品のお店で買えます。もちろん、自分で作ることもできますね。小麦粉とぬるま湯さえあればＯＫ。
餃子のタネは、みんなそれぞれ家庭の味があると思うので、日本語で書く必要がありませんね。

Anyway, I think it is very important that you enjoy your meals. I hope you are able to do that.

Winter bath 冬のお風呂

Today I will talk about Swedish winter culture. A lot of Japanese people know that they like sauna in the Nordic countries. I also like sauna very much.
今日は、スウェーデンの文化について。みなさんは、北欧のサウナが有名だということは知っていますよね。私もサウナが大好きです！

On the last day of last year, I experienced "winter bath". The way you do this is "you first get into a frozen lake and then run to the sauna".
2012年の大晦日、私は「バス」を体験してきました。これは、「氷の張った湖に入った後でサウナに戻る」というものです。大晦日ということで、２０１２年の汚れを落とすという意味を込めて、バスをする人もいるそうです。

I thought I wouldn't like the winter bath, but actually, I enjoyed it! When you get into the water, you feel  very cold, but it feels very nice when you go back to the sauna. And maybe you will want to go again!
最初は、絶対好きにならないだろうと思っていたのですが・・・今では大好きです！湖に入るのはもちろん寒いんです。でも、サウナに戻ると「もう一度」と思うと思いますよ！

If you visit Sweden in the winter, you can try the sauna and swim in the frozen lake!
もし冬にスウェーデンを訪れる際は、試してみてください＾＾

Saffron bread サフランパン

Today I will talk about Saffron Bread. This bread is very traditional Christmas bread in Sweden. Saffron bread's Swedish name is "Lussekatt".
今日は、サフランパンについて書きます。サフランパンはクリスマスシーズンにだけ食べる、伝統的なパンです。スウェーデン語でルセカットと呼ばれています。

I tries to bake Lussekatt before the Christmas. I think it is easy to bake. You just need Saffron, Kesella(or  yogurt), Butter or margarin, Milk, Yeast, Egg, Sugar, Salt and Wheat flour.
私もクリスマス前にルセカットを作ってみました。意外と簡単です。
必要なものはサフラン、ケセラ（ヨーグルト）、バター又はマーガリン、牛乳、イースト（生でもドライでもＯＫ）、卵、砂糖、塩、そして小麦粉。（強力粉と薄力粉を混ぜたものでもＯＫ）

You also can put some raisin.
最後のトッピングにレーズンをのせてもおいしいです。

This year you can buy saffron cheaper than before. I think this is good chance if you want to try.
今年はサフランが少し安いので、試してみるのも良いかも！
